Automated spectroscopic measuring complex

Automated high-resolution spectrometer for recording the spectra of secondary emission at low temperatures.

Field of application:
Optical spectroscopy; non-destructive control of semiconductor materials and devices.

Unique characteristic properties:
The automated spectroscopic measuring complex is designed for the  registration of optical spectra in a broad temperature range; it has a high spectral  resolution, high sensitivity and a large rate of registration and processing of measurements results.

high-resolution spectrometer for recording the spectra of secondary emission at low temperatures

Main technical data:

  • Spectral registration range - 200-3000 nm;
  • Excitation wave length - 405 nm, 457 nm, 488 nm, 514 nm, 532 nm;
  • Laser excitation - up to 500 mW;
  • Dispersion of monochromator - 13 Ǻ / mm (1200 grooves / mm), 26 Ǻ / mm (600 grooves / mm).

Measuring modes:

  • Registration of photoluminescence spectra with a high spectral resolution (less than 1 Ǻ ) in a broad temperature range (4.2-300 К);
  • Registration of luminescence excitation spectra of semiconducting structures in the region 200-2500 nm.

Operation of the spectroscopic measuring complex is based on the synchronous phase detection. Registration of optical signals is carried out with the use of Hamamatsu photodetectors (Japan). These are photoelectric multipliers for the spectral region of  200-900 nm, InGaAs p-i-n photodiodes on the spectral region of 0.8-2.6 μm, and a cooled photoresistance of PbS on the spectral region of 0.8 - 3.5 μm. The spectroscopic measuring complex provides a possibility to carry out measurements of luminescence, optical transmission and optical reflexion in the temperature range  4.2 - 300 К.
