IVNC 2012 homepage: www.IVNC2012.org

Call for papers

The 25th International Vacuum Nanoelectronics Conference (IVNC 2012) will be held during July 9 ~ 13, 2012 at Hyatt Hotel Jeju in Jeju Island, Korea. It will bring together an international body of scientists and engineers to discuss their research on vacuum micro and nanoelectronics. The topics will include the theory, fabrication, and characteriz! ation of vacuum micro and nanoelectronic materials and devices with applications to x-ray sources, lamps, information displays, microwave amplifiers, plasma devices, analytical instruments, satellites, e-beam sources, particle accelerators and sensors.

The conference will have a four-day program which consists of plenary talks, invited talks, contributed talks and poster sessions. Especially, to encourage young scientists, several awards will be given to young researchers for outstanding contributions.

The conference place, Jeju island, was enrolled to the UNESCO heritage for its unique and beautiful natural scenery. Scenic beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves lie in harmony, and the mild weather makes Jeju an even more ideal tourist destination. Palm trees and other tropical plants coexist with temperate varieties, and form the famous unique scenery of Jeju. The eruption of Mt. Halla that took place approximately 25 thousand years ago created the crater lak! e, Baekrok-dam, at the summit of the mountain. Especially, Jeju island provides very delicious sea foods from the clean pacific sea.

The conference is sponsored by Korea Information Display Society, Nano Technology Research Association, Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Hyosung Corporation, Vatech Ewoo Holdings, SNDisplay, Korea University, Kyung Hee University, and other research organizations.

Fundamental and Applied NanoElectroMagnetics (FANEM)
Thursday, 08 December 2011 15:20

Belarusian State University, Minsk, Belarus, May 22-25, 2012

Ongoing rapid progress in the synthesis of different nanostructures and their fascinating physical and chemical properties not associated with bulk materials, have motivated a significant and potentially long-lasting increase of human resources and financial investments into this research field all over the world. No other area of materials research combines the exciting progress in fundamental research with the immediate promise of its realization in new devices & products that have both high societal impact and high commercial potential. The potential of nano-sized elements and nano-structured materials for electromagnetic fields manipulation and processing motivates recent invention of a new research discipline - nanoelectromagnetics.  This conference aims to provide a forum for scientists specializing in different areas of the nanoparticles and nanostructured materials synthesis and applications to interact with their counterparts working in the areas of electromagnetic theory and applied electromagnetics. We expect fruitful discussions to both stimulate the development of nanoelectromagnetics and introduce the language and the problems of the present-day electromagnetics and photonics to the nano-materials research community. The conference thus has a very wide scope that encompasses various aspects of general theory, modeling, design, synthesis, characterization, applications ranging from commercial thin-film coatings to metamaterials to circuit components and nanodevices.

Development has no limits
Tuesday, 06 September 2011 16:40

We try to make this site may not remain stationary - constantly updated, added new sections and articles. At this stage, changes were made "Research" section, "Main results", "Projects and programs" and the main page of the resource. The material was added as received from the staff of the missing information. Now, sections of more or less complete and detailed.
However, this is not going to stop, there is still much to do additions, clarifications, and a full English translation. In general, there is much to develop.
Watch for updates on our site. You creative inspiration. Bye everyone!
